New Beginnings

As I rise from slumber,
the world is filled with fuzz.
My mind is filled with a lack of clarity.
My body is weary,
yearning for the comfort of my bed.
Even with my drowsy state,
I will praise my God.
Just as each day I am renewed,
daily my spirit will rise up to worship.
With each breath,
I will praise my God.
My life is changed,
born anew with my savior indwelled.
Even in the remenants of my dream,
Christ overwhelms me.
A new day allows a new chance to worship,
a new chance to fellowship with my father.

Brokeness

By Ephraim Yeung (Eee)
...
I am Broken,
shattered and fallen.
I am humbled,
fallen to my knees.
My heart is impure,
sinful and evil.
My life is forced from your grasps,
by my prideful will.
My feet bring me to the wilderness far from you,
yet you seek me out.
My sins are more than the hairs on my head,
yet you have forgiven them all.
I am deserving of death,
yet you give me life everlasting.
I am broken before your holiness.
May I be made holy as you are holy.
Through my brokeness,
I am only complete through your perfect work.
